The Inaugural Meeting of the National Learning Community for Sponsoring Institutions
The ACGME is pleased to invite designated institutional officials (DIOs), institutional coordinators, and others to the 2022 National Learning Community of Sponsoring Institutions Meeting. The hybrid meeting will be held remotely and in Chicago September 7-8, 2022, and will offer opportunities for participants to learn and connect with other Sponsoring Institution leaders in graduate medical education (GME), with an emphasis on the objectives of the Sponsoring Institution 2025 initiative.
Participants will collaborate through shared educational experiences, explore successful practices to strengthen Sponsoring Institutions and clinical learning environments, and solve challenges together. During two days of networking, learning, and sharing, participants will:
- Exchange experiences with colleagues during formal and informal knowledge sharing opportunities.
- Construct strategies to strengthen clinical learning environments.
- Share innovative practices to enhance sponsoring institutions and clinical learning environments.
- Leverage methods practiced by leaders and innovators in the sponsoring institution community.
The meeting will feature a range of networking and learning opportunities, including posters, information sharing, storytellers offering practical lessons and insights, and peer interest community roundtables.
