The registration fee is only $95 for residents and fellows and includes all Premium registration benefits. That is far lower than any comparable in-person event, and with no travel costs and no travel days away from programs, this is a great year to attend.

2022 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee Amit R.T. Joshi, MD, FACS is a professor of surgery and the associate dean for GME at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University Cooper University Healthcare in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Joshi is also the editor-in-chief of the Surgical Council on Resident Education (SCORE®). 

2022 David C. Leach Awardee Nupur Sharma, MD, is a PGY-4 resident in pathology at Vidant Medical Center/East Carolina University. 

2022 David C. Leach Awardee Jeremy Weleff, DO is a psychiatry resident at the Cleveland Clinic.

The Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME) has long enjoyed a presence at the ACGME Annual Educational Conference with great sessions and workshops. This year’s JGME workshop is called Turning Your Educational Evaluation Work into a Scholarly Activity. 

The December issue of the Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME) continues its section of practical, how-to guides known as Rip Outs.

This year’s theme, Meaning in Medicine: Rebuilding Connections, highlights both the importance of the work that is done every day and the imperative to continually rebuild professional connections
